Make grandparenting as gratifying as it can be! Being a grandparent has the potential to be one of life’s most wonderful experiences. And just like parenting, there’s no formal training for the role. Finally, there’s unique help for grandparents. Join Dr Annie Abram and a small group of other grandparents and step-grandparents to explore what it means to be a grandparent and how to be a great one!!
You’ll learn how to:
- Be comfortable in this new phase of your life
- Enter your grandchild’s world to develop a meaningful relationship
- Share concerns with your adult children in an effective and sensitive way
- Allow the grandparent role to lead to self-discovery and growth
- Be a living legacy in a way you never expected to be
- Improve overall family dynamics
- Recognize how important you can be to your grandchild in this significant relationship.

Description:
- Four-week facilitated discussion group
- One 90-minute session each of four consecutive weeks
When:
- Tuesdays: May 1, 8, 15, 22
- Morning Groups: 10:30 a.m. – Noon
- Evening Group: 7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
