Confidentiality, Privacy and Cancellation Policy
The law protects the relationship between a client and a psychotherapist, and information cannot be disclosed without written permission.
Exceptions:
In the event of suspected child abuse or dependant adult or elder abuse, the mental health professional is required by law to report this to the appropriate authorities immediately.
If a client intends to harm himself or herself, the mental health professional will make every effort to enlist their cooperation in insuring their safety. If they do not cooperate, the mental health professional will take further measures without their permission that are provided by law in order to ensure their safety.
Cancellation Policy:
If you must cancel a session, you must inform us 48 hours in advance or you will be responsible for the full fee for the time set aside for you.
